Who We Are

It started with one room.

In 2000, Center Stage Performing Arts Academy opened its doors and quickly established its reputation as a leading institution for performing arts training. Our original building consisted of only one open space and a handful of classes. We are now the only local studio that provides comprehensive training in various styles of dance, acting, voice, musical theatre, and instrumentation.

Today, we are proud of our multi-room facility with solo practice rooms, various classrooms, and modern technology. More than twenty years ago, the studio opened with a limited number of staff and instructors teaching multiple subject areas. Since opening, our numbers have grown into a large and extensive base of instructors offering talent, wisdom, and insight for their various areas of concentration, from acting to ballet; musical theatre to piano.

Our award-winning STARS Company began in 2003 with 10 members. Since then, our company has grown tremendously and can be seen performing across the country. In 2010, the STARS Company was awarded the Access Broadway National Cup for excellence in musical theatre performance. In 2014, the STARS Company returned to Access Broadway Nationals and was awarded the Las Vegas Cup for America's Best Dance School and the Broadway Cup for America's Best Performing Arts School in the same year. Center Stage STARS Company is the first company to win both titles in the same year and win the Broadway Cup twice.

Our first generation of stars have continued to shine outside the walls of our studio. Many of our students continue training at some of the best universities in the country, and can be seen performing across the country - from Broadway to Hollywood.
