Linda and Larry Schexnaydre founded Center Stage Performing Arts Academy in 2000, dedicating their lives to nurturing talent in dance, musical theatre, and the performing arts. The academy has become a cherished haven for aspiring performers in the area.

We offer comprehensive training across all genres of dance, acting, voice, musical theatre, and instrumentation, catering to all ages and skill levels.

We are proud to have been voted Best Dance School and Best Summer Camps in the Best of Ascension Community Choice Awards for the past six years and to have received the 2024 Greater Baton Rouge Faces of Dance award, reflecting our community's trust and support.
